This is my first piece of pie on the road. It’s raspberry and was recommended by the young lady at the door. It’s delicious.
Dipping in Missouri River Water
The flooding has made it impossible to dip in the river so this is how it is done this year…thanks to to the Glenwood High School Runners Club. At least that’s what I recall.

My bike made the Omaha plane
No photo on this one but I just saw them load my bike on the plane. Assuming it’s in one piece, and it’s a tough bike, I’ll be riding tomorrow. Yeah!
Getting closer…
I've made it as far as Denver and even managed a little sleep. You can see the last of three planes I'll be on in this shot.
It's been a long but thankfully uneventful journey so far. If my luggage gets on the plane with me all will be well.
