There’s a lot more…a serious amount of pie.

This is my first piece of pie on the road. It’s raspberry and was recommended by the young lady at the door. It’s delicious.

The flooding has made it impossible to dip in the river so this is how it is done this year…thanks to to the Glenwood High School Runners Club. At least that’s what I recall.

Clearly Omaha is ready for the Gal,but sadly tis not to be this year.

Pretty self explanatory and I've been up way too long.

I had a super dinner and chatted with the owner…if are ever in Omaha…

The Waikiki of Omaha. I was with a bunch of folks but it didn’t seem we’d get to eat together so I struck out on my own.

No photo on this one but I just saw them load my bike on the plane. Assuming it’s in one piece, and it’s a tough bike, I’ll be riding tomorrow. Yeah!

I've made it as far as Denver and even managed a little sleep. You can see the last of three planes I'll be on in this shot.

It's been a long but thankfully uneventful journey so far. If my luggage gets on the plane with me all will be well.

Next stop, Omaha!
