I’m sure that reading this blog isn’t on the top of anyone’s list…heck, I may be the only one who even checks it out. And really, why would anyone with the last post being written after the Honolulu Century Ride in 2017?
I’d love to say I have a great excuse, but really I don’t. I do have an excuse though. By the end of this year, I’ll have flown enough miles to have gone around the world. Last year wasn’t quite that high, but it was up there. It’s all in the service of some volunteer things I do, but hey, it’s been a lot of fun too.
For instance this year I’ve been in both New York City and Porto, Portugal. In fact, I got in five full days of cycling through the countryside of northern Portugal. Wow.
I can highly recommend Portugal Nature Trails. We, my bike partner Erich and I, did the Porto and the Green Coast tour and it’s fantastic.
I’ll try to write more about this in the future, but right now…you guessed it, I’ve got to hop on a plane. I’ll leave you with a shot from my Portugal trip though! I think it’s a view from Valença…though I could be wrong on that…it’s near it though.
